Week Beginning 1st June
As we now have pupils who are attending school, along with pupils who are continuing to learn from home, our planning format has had to change.
You will find that the weekly overview is now more specific in terms of the days on which some of the activities should be completed. This is to ensure that pupils who are coming in to school (especially those attending on Thursdays and Fridays) have completed the activities that precede these days and are therefore ready to access the learning when attending their school sessions.
The in-school timetable shows when subjects will be taught in school. If your child is attending, it is important to familiarise yourself with this information to avoid activities being duplicated.
You will notice that there is a large focus on PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education). This is not only to support our pupils’ mental health at this difficult time, but also to begin thinking about the process of transition to secondary school as we would normally be doing at this time.
If your child is continuing to learn from home, the overview should be used in the same way as they have been up to this point.
